An icon shows when the file switches between rotation and reciprocation, and you can feel the change in your hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhy it matters:\u003c\/strong\u003e different parts of the canal need different torque. In Dr. Ramos's demonstration, the motor set a torque of about 1.4 where the file met more resistance and about 0.9 in the apical third, where only the tip was cutting. TorqueSense adjusts in real time for each segment of the canal, which helps protect against torsional fatigue and file separation.
